On June 14 2022, the Lawang Agricultural Technical Implementation Unit collaborated with Maxxi Tani to introduce and practise the use of agricultural mechanisation to Islamic boarding school managers in East Java at the Singosari Agricultural Training Technical Implementation Unit Office, Malang. The participants looked enthusiastic in operating the Maxxi Antasena Drone and the WD404 Maxxi Tractor with the Maxxi Tani Team. Taufiq Mansur as the Head of Training Development is very pleased to be working with Maxxi Tani. Taufiq also believes that the existence of agricultural mechanisation partnerships and farming community development is very good for the future of agriculture so this needs to be continuously developed.
In developing food agriculture such as rice and corn, one of the training participants, Zulkarnaen, hopes that all boarding school managers can utilize the new agricultural knowledge and prioritise time efficiency. Rizki Hamdani, an initiator of the Millennial Santri Farmer Group in Jombang and recipient of the 11th SATU Indonesia Awards 2020 Appreciation in the Environment Sector, was one of the enthusiastic participants in this mechanization training. Currently, Rizki finds it very difficult to find farm laborers or workers who can cultivate the land because of the lack of interest from the younger generation who want to go down to the fields. Therefore, the existence of this Agricultural Mechanization is enough to help increase agricultural productivity.
